Karthik brings over two decades of global experience in private equity, financial operations, business transformation, and general management. Prior to joining Smith + Howard in 2024, he held regional and business unit CFO roles, including responsibility for a $120 million business spanning Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. His leadership has generated transformative outcomes—such as $200 million in profit improvement at a Fortune 500 company and significant EBITDA improvements at private equity-backed portfolio companies.
Karthik’s expertise includes developing shared-services strategies, integrating cross-border operations, and building high-performing teams to support scalable growth. His global lens—shaped by leadership roles in the U.S., India, and Singapore—complements Smith + Howard’s ambitions for sustained, values-driven expansion. As both a strategic financial leader and a catalyst for operational change, he ensures the firm is positioned for both performance and resilience in a rapidly evolving industry.
