J. Sean Spitzer

As a past CFO, Sean adds value to our clients by demonstrating a true understanding of the issues C-level executives face.

Sean joined Smith + Howard in 2002 after beginning his career at a Big Four firm. Now partner in charge of our Assurance practice, he oversees many of the firm’s audit engagements, working with a diverse group of clients in the manufacturing, distribution, construction, staffing and technology industries, among others. Sean is also responsible for overall audit quality.

Sean, his wife and daughters live in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.
