Daniel Sage

Daniel combines deep experience and a genuine dedication to our clients’ best interests to bring value to every engagement.

Daniel began his career at an international accounting firm before joining Smith + Howard in 2012. As a partner in the Assurance practice, Daniel serves as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base, helping organizations strengthen financial reporting, manage risk, and achieve their goals. He works with clients across industries, with deep experience in construction, franchise, and nonprofit sectors.

He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner, and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Daniel serves on the boards of Kate’s Club and the Alchemy Sky Foundation. He lives in Decatur with his wife.
