A partner in our Tax practice, Chris began his career in public accounting in 2006 when he joined Smith + Howard as a staff accountant. He focuses on large real estate and private equity transactions by helping clients navigate the complicated rules surrounding partnership taxation. Additionally, he provides planning and consulting for numerous corporate entities in the transportation, logistics, construction, manufacturing and distribution businesses. By honing in on those strengths, Chris helps resolve complex shareholder and family tax issues, especially those involving estate and gift strategies.
Chris is active in the real estate community and will serve as a moderator for BISNOW’S 2021 Atlanta Deal Flow event in August.
Chris lives in Brookhaven with his wife, daughter, twin boys and their bevy of lovable pets.
