Brandee A. Tilman serves as Director of State and Local Tax Services and leads the firm’s State Income Tax Consulting practice. With more than two decades of experience in multistate income tax, she advises clients on a wide range of complex matters, including tax planning, audit defense and controversy resolution, mergers and acquisitions, tax compliance and risk mitigation, and provisions. Her practice also extends to private businesses and high-net-worth individuals, with specialized guidance on pass-through entity tax (PTET) elections, individual residency planning, and income sourcing.
Throughout her career, Brandee has worked with clients across diverse industries including media and entertainment, consumer products, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, and technology. She is known for her thought leadership on state tax policy and has presented at major tax forums, including the California Tax Policy Conference, Council on State Taxation and the Tax Executives Institute. Brandee is also a published author on SALT-related topics, offering insights into tax legislation, compliance, and economic implications.

She is a licensed attorney in California and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
