Scott Goodwin is Chief Information Officer at Smith + Howard, bringing over 20 years of strategic technology leadership to the firm. With a strong track record in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and IT-business alignment, he specializes in leveraging technology to drive operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Before joining Smith + Howard in his C-suite role, Scott supported the firm in a consulting capacity. His previous roles include Senior Director of Information Technology and Security at Aware, Inc., where he led enterprise modernization and cybersecurity efforts, and Chief Technology Officer at Kroll LLC, where he managed global technology operations across nearly 100 offices and a $90 million budget. At Kroll, he also successfully led the integration of more than 30 acquisitions.

His expertise includes infrastructure strategy, cloud transformation, business continuity planning, and risk management.
