Lindsay Medlin

Lindsay specializes in business advisory and assurance services across telecommunications, technology, manufacturing, captive insurance, real estate, nonprofit, and distribution industries, with a current focus on telecommunications and real estate. In January 2026, BPS merged with Smith+Howard, broadening the scope of her practice. Beyond traditional accounting and auditing, Lindsay brings experience in acquisition due diligence, forecasting models, accounting standard implementation, cost allocation models, best practice assessments, and other special projects.

Lindsay taught Accounting 225, Introduction to Financial Accounting, as part of her fellowship during the graduate program at the University of South Carolina. In addition, Lindsay presents at numerous accounting and auditing CPE seminars. She also routinely volunteers at various events though local organizations in Columbia and is always seeking new ways to be involved and make a difference, both inside and outside of the work environment.
