Kimberly has extensive public accounting experience serving many of the firm’s nonprofit clients and leads our nonprofit Assurance practice.
Kimberly joined the firm in 2006 and serves as a partner in the Assurance practice. Prior to joining our team, she spent several years at a Big 4 firm serving public and private companies.
At Smith + Howard, Kimberly focuses primarily on serving our nonprofit clients. She is a regular attendee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ governmental and nonprofit conferences and is responsible for leading the in-house training to ensure the nonprofit team is up-to-date on the current accounting pronouncements.
Kimberly is a frequent speaker at the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants Southeastern Accounting Show, where she covers various assurance topics on the nonprofit industry.
Outside of the office, Kimberly serves on the audit committee and the finance and budget committee for Jewish Family and Career Services. She also serves on the finance committee of Camp Twin Lakes. Kimberly previously served on the National Editorial Board of Profitable Solutions for Nonprofits, a newsletter for nonprofit executives.
Kimberly, her husband and two children live in Atlanta, Georgia.
