Amanda leverages her knowledge and expertise with accounting technology and process automation to help the professionals at Smith + Howard to better serve clients spanning across the whole firm.
Amanda currently serves as the Chief Innovation Officer for Smith + Howard working with professionals across the firm to enhance and streamline workflows through better use of technology. Additionally, she manages the development staff that build and maintain our automation solutions. Amanda joined Smith + Howard in 2022 as the Director of Tax Process and Development working remotely from her home in Maine. As a tax professional of over 20 years, she has a deep knowledge of reviewing, analyzing and developing tax processes that help tax practices run efficiently and effectively. She focuses on delivering digital transformation, efficiency and automation to the firm’s Tax Practice.
Amanda works closely with the firm’s professionals to better automate their processes when working with clients at the individual and business level. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys live music and spending time with her family.
