Smith + Howard Announces Relocation

Finalizes details for Fall 2024 move, designing workspace focused on commitment to hybrid work, and an elevated guest experience

June 6, 2024 – Smith + Howard is excited to announce the relocation of its headquarters within the same building at 271 17th Street in Midtown Atlanta. The move, scheduled for October, will see the company transition from its long-time home on the 16th floor to a new space on the 21st floor.

Sean Taylor, CEO of Smith + Howard, shared his enthusiasm for the move, stating, “We are thrilled to be moving up rather than moving out, remaining at 271 17th Street in Atlantic Station. Atlantic Station itself has been our home for the past two decades. The view here is among the best in the city, and moving five floors up allows us to expand our horizon to the Atlanta skyline and beyond, mirroring our national growth. This move has been a collaborative effort from the beginning, with significant input from our employees in site selection and all aspects of the design.”

Smith + Howard’s relocation team has partnered with CBRE for the office space search and lease and is working with CBRE Project Management on the execution of design, build out and move. The new space is being designed by Hendrick, an Atlanta-based architecture and interior design firm. The goal of the new office design is to enhance connectedness and provide an energetic, positive experience for employees and guests. It will support Smith + Howard’s commitment to hybrid work by offering modern, collaborative spaces, flexibility in choosing work locations within the office, and an abundance of natural light. The new office will also feature innovative technology and an in-house multimedia studio.
