Smith + Howard Announces New Chief Human Resources Officer Role and Welcomes Kerry Anne Eales

Kerry Anne Eales has joined Smith and Howard as the firm’s first Chief Human Resources Officer.

In this role, Eales is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the firm. This includes the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation.

Eales, a strategic human resource leader with almost 20 years of experience leading human resource organizations and efforts in large global companies, is specifically skilled in recruiting, training, labor relations, compliance and performance management.

Eales graduated from the University of Pretoria in South Africa with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with majors in Psychology, Sociology and Criminology and a minor in Statistics. She has received certifications in several HR-related courses.
