How to Stand Out from the Crowd This Recruiting Season
August 30, 2016
Recruiting season is here and Smith and Howard is gearing up for on-campus recruiting visits. This fall we will be visiting the University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, Auburn University and Kennesaw State University searching for the best and brightest students who are looking to begin a career in public accounting.
The main objective of recruiting season is to find top notch candidates to fill internships and full-time opportunities in our Accounting and Advisory, Assurance and Tax departments. We are also looking for students to participate in our annual Leadership Institute program that is held each July. Participants who are accepted (through our application process) to the Leadership Institute have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a keen interest in a career in accounting.

Candidates who stand out from the crowd are able to demonstrate the following key traits:
As we hit the road this fall on a quest to find the best and brightest to join our firm we hope that you’ve gained an understanding on what makes a successful Smith and Howard candidate. We were named the number one CPA Firm in the U.S. by INSIDE Public Accounting for 2014 and 2015 and the number one firm in Atlanta in 2016. We consistently rank as one of the best places to work in Atlanta and hope that you will consider joining our firm. We wish you the best of luck in managing the recruiting process and look forward to meeting you during our campus visits.
