Paul joined BPS in 2014 and became a principal in 2024. In January 2026, BPS merged with Smith+Howard, expanding his reach and resources. As a member of the audit and business advisory team, he provides assurance and advisory services to owner-managed and closely held businesses, with a focus on the manufacturing, construction, distribution, and technology industries.
Much of Paul’s work centers on companies that are growing or involved in transactions. He supports both buyers and sellers with quality of earnings and due diligence engagements, helping clean up financial statements, identify personal or non-recurring expenses, and present clear, credible financials that stand up in negotiations. He also advises fast-growing businesses on strengthening internal controls and improving financial reporting, so they are better prepared for audits, financing, and potential future sales.
