Chris Sellman

Chris’s deep roots in construction accounting and his commitment to excellence have made him a trusted advisor to contractors across the Carolinas.

Chris joined Smith + Howard (formerly Smith Kesler & Co.) in 2000 and is a Partner in the Assurance Practice. He has spent his entire career serving the commercial construction industry, offering clients a rare combination of industry understanding and technical skill. With 25 years of experience, Chris supports clients across all stages of growth.

Chris earned his accounting degree from North Carolina State University and holds the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional designation. He is a member of the AICPA and state CPA societies, and formerly served as President of NUCA of the Carolinas.

Chris is an enthusiastic supporter of N.C. State and is actively engaged in construction-related associations.
