Senior Business Advisor
Business Development is an area that most accountants try to avoid with all their might. In my role, I get to use my strength of opening doors and making connections to mentor and coach our people to become good business developers too. They find out for themselves that business development is actually not that scary and it helps our clients, prospects and our communities.
Brandy’s impact at Smith + Howard is felt across the office she helps grow our people and our business.
Brandy joined Smith + Howard in 2015 and is a Senior Business Advisor, putting her deep experience to work helping better our firm, our clients and our local community.
As a member of the Gwinnett County Rotary Club, she has served in various leadership roles and has been a Rotarian since 1993. Brandy currently serves as Assistant Governor and Public Image Chair for Rotary District 6910. She sees her responsibility as one of connecting clubs, people and projects, while working with club leadership to make Rotary and their respective communities stronger and better. Brandy is an active member of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and former board member. Brandy is still active in the Gwinnett community and has served in many capacities, including as Co-Chair of Glance Gwinnett, a leadership program for the county’s business leaders and citizens. Since 2013, Brandy has been a fundraising volunteer for Covenant House of Georgia, which works to alleviate poverty.
Married to her high school sweetheart for over 30 years, Brandy enjoys spending her free time with him and their two adult children.
