Smith + Howard Named a Best Accounting Firm to Work for

Smith and Howard was recently named one of the 2015 Accounting Today’s Best Accounting Firms to Work for, marking the firm’s second straight year on this list of 100 best employers that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees.

Companies from across the United States entered the two-part survey process. The first part – 25% of the total score – evaluates each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part – 75% of the total score – consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data and determined the final ranking.

“The firms on this list represent the best workplaces in the accounting profession,” said Accounting Today Editor-in-Chief Daniel Hood. “They are outstanding places to build a career.”

Other recent workplace awards for Smith and Howard have included the Top 75 Best Places to Work for Millenials in the U.S., the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Top Work Place Award.
