Candice Schell

Joining Smith + Howard in 2024 as a Tax Manager, Candice Schell, brings more than a decade of public accounting experience to the firm. She spent the first ten years of her career with another local Atlanta public accounting firm, where she developed a strong foundation serving closely held businesses across a broad range of industries—including real estate, personal services, construction, hospitality, and healthcare. Now a Senior Tax Manager, Candice continues to serve a diverse client base while deepening her expertise in the personal service and real estate sectors. She is also committed to training and developing emerging professionals, contributing to the growth and strength of the firm’s tax team.

Candice works remotely while traveling the country full time in an RV with her husband and two children—demonstrating that professional growth, client commitment, and personal freedom can successfully coexist.
