Julie joined Smith & Howard in 1993. She serves as Director of Marketing for both Smith & Howard and Smith & Howard Wealth Management. Julie oversees the firm’s digital, branding and marketing strategy. She serves on the Mentoring Committee, which is responsible for overseeing the firm's mentoring program for employee growth and development.
Among the firm's recognition for marketing activities during Julie's tenure are four Marketing Achievement Awards from the Association of Accounting Marketing, including Corporate Social Program of the Year in 2013. Julie attended Georgia State University. She is a member of the Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Marketing Advisory Board, a former board member of the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta and a member of the Association of Accounting Marketing (AAM), where she is past board member of the Atlanta chapter. With a deep appreciation for Atlanta's arts and culture community, Julie is a participant in the Woodruff Arts Center Women's Giving Circle. She has had several articles published on issues related to accounting marketing and has written for the firm on real estate and other topics. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, writing and especially her Boston Terrier, John Henry.
